Summary
ONVIF is an open industry forum that provides and promotes standardized interfaces for effective interoperability of IP-based physical security products. This article provides links to find out where to check for compatible firmware versions of Hanwha Vision equipment and ONVIF conformity.
NOTE: Hanwha devices always have ONVIF enabled. You need to synchronize
the time, date, daylight saving time, and time zone between the
third-party device and our products.
Compatible Firmware
VMS-supported Device Firmware
You can search a supported device list for 3rd party Video Management Systems (VMS) and WAVE at the following websites:
- Genetec - Genetec Supported Device List
- Milestone - Supported Devices for Milestone
- WAVE - Wisenet WAVE Compatible Devices
NOTE: Although it looks like it is the only version of firmware
supported by the VMS, later versions may also be compatible.
The latest version or a higher version of firmware can also be used.
IMPORTANT: Use the latest version of firmware and open a
Technical Support ticket in your region if there are any
issues with that version.
ONVIF-supported Device Firmware
You can search the ONVIF Conformant Products database for our Wisenet cameras. This page is the authoritative source for determining whether or not a product is officially ONVIF conformant and supports one or multiple ONVIF profiles.
