Summary:

This article provides instructions for using Microsoft Edge Internet Explorer mode for older Hanwha NVRs and DVRs that support Internet Explorer connectivity. 

Step By Step Guide:

NOTE: This is a workaround for older IE plugins. Eventually, as the NVR and DVR
get older, even Microsoft Edge will stop supporting the plugin.

To connect to legacy NVRs and DVRs using Internet Explorer mode:

1. Select the three dots in the right-hand corner of Microsoft Edge.
   
   
2. Select Settings.
   
   
   
3. On the left-hand side, select Default Browser.
   
   
   
4. Select Allow from the Allow sites to be reloaded in Internet Explorer mode dropdown menu.
   
   
   
5. Click Add next to the Internet Explorer mode pages.
   
   
   
6. Enter the URL of the device.
   
   
   Added pages will be listed under the Internet Explorer mode pages section.
   
   
   
7. Restart the browser if this does not happen automatically.
   

   NOTE: These settings are only valid for 30 days and will require 
   reconfiguration.

   
   
8. Look for the IE symbol to verify the webpage has been successfully configured to run on Microsoft Edge.
