To maintain standards, Hanwha Vision uses the web UI for all knowledge base articles about product configuration. Open Chrome, enter the IP Address of your device into the URL bar, and press enter. If you are not using the web UI to configure your device, please refer to the user manual for your product.
Summary:
Newer Hanwha Vision Recorders support scheduling email alerts generated by events from the NVR, these instructions will take you through enabling this function.
NOTE: This article only covers the process of setting up email notification events.
You will have to setup the email section of the recorder and verify its function
before performing these steps
Step By Step Guide:
1. Go to Setup>Event>Schedule (Figure 1)
2 Click on Add (Figure 1)

3. Give the Schedule a Name (Figure 2)
4. Click Apply (Figure 2)

5. Select the Schedule you just created (Figure 3)
NOTE: The scheduling screen goes by military time in hours only, 0 representing midnight,
23 representing 11 pm
6. Deselect any hours that are orange to turn off scheduling at those hours (Figure 3)

7. Go to Setup>Event>Event Setup>Event Rule Setup (Figure 4)
8. Click on Add (Figure 4)
9. Select Create Rule (Figure4)

9. Enter the Name of the rule (Figure 5)
10. Click on Add Trigger (Figure 5)
11. Select the Trigger Type you wish to use, IVA, Motion Detection, ETC(Figure 5)
12. Select the Trigger you wish to use
NOTE: If you select a Trigger Type like Motion Detection, you will then need to select
the cameras you wish to receive alerts about

13. Select the Action named E-Mail
14. Put a check next to the Email Group or individual E-Mail you wish to send a Scheduled Alert to (Figure 6)
15 Select the Schedule you created on Step 2
16 Click Apply
