Summary:

Extension creation in FreePBX Version 16 for the registration 
of the intercom.

Step By Step Guide:

1. Login into FreePBX Management Console using the Administrator account

2. Click on Applications

3. Click on Extensions

4. Click on the Add Extension button

5. Click on the Add New SIP (chan_pjsip) Extension

6. Create an extension

a) Assign an extension number 

b) Display Name of your choice

c) Outbound CID of your choice

d) Emergency CID of your choice

e) Secret ID (Recommend not to use the auto-generated for our intercom has the limitation with the number of Characters and unsupported special characters as the password)

f) Click on the Submit button located, at the bottom right corner

7. Make sure to click on the Apply Config button located, at the right upper corner to save the setting

8. For the intercom setting, click on the Link

9. For the video call, you need to enable the video call under the SIP Setting of FreePBX.  Click on the Asterisk SIP Settings under the Settings

9. Under the General SIP Settings, scroll all the way down to the Video Codec

10.  Enable the Video Support and make sure h.264 is checked under the Video Codecs
