Summary:

A common question asked to our support team is the capability to determine how many days of storage a device will provide based on the current storage setup

NOTE: Factors that will determine storage performance:

1. HDD Size & Count
2. Number of cameras being recorded.
3. Cameras recording resolution, FPS & codec being used.
4. Usage of Wisenet Stream or other secondary compression technology.

Wisenet Toolbox Step By Step Guide:

1. Download our Wisenet Toolbox from the Hanwha Portal >Here<

2. Install the application as an administrator.

3. Access the storage calculator options (Figure 1)

4. Use the + symbol to add cameras to the calculator (Figure 2)

5. After adding the cameras to the tool, move forward to edit camera recording options (Figure 3)

6. Modify the Storage Settings with the current recorder storage capacity to determine the estimated recordable time (Figure 4)
