Configuring and Connecting Door Locks
To configure and connect the door locks:
- Select the lock type between N.O. (Normally Open / Fail Secure) and N.C. (Normally Closed / Fail Safe) for the Alarm output 2, and set the duration under the Alarm output setting.
NOTE: If 12VDC power is directly connected to the intercom, it is recommended
The diagram below is for a Normally Open setup.
to use at least 2A power supply to provide 550mA out of the intercom.
The diagram below is for a Normally Closed door lock. - If you are dealing with an N.O. lock that requires more than 550mA, connect a power supply with a higher amperage to the intercom as below.
