Applies to Models: TID-600R
Summary:
Extension creation in 3CX PBX Version 14 and registration of the intercom to the PBX.
Step By Step Guide:
1. Login into 3CX Phone System Management Console
2. Click on Extensions
3. Click on Add
4. Provide the User Information for the TID-600R extension
a) Extension number (Contact the 3CX admin in order to utilize a valid numbering plan)
b) First and Last name (This can be as simple as the location of the TID-600R in the site)
c) Outbound Caller ID (When the calls from TID-600R is forwarded to an external party, this caller ID info will be displayed to the external party)
5. Provide the SIP Authentication information for the TID-600R extension
d) Authentication ID = Extension Number provided in step (a)
e) Authentication Password = Provide a password that will be used to register the TID-600R to 3CX
6. Click on the Phone Provisioning Tab
7. Select the Transport protocol required (TID-600R supports UDP, TCP, TLS)
8. Select RTP mode (for Secure communication, use Only secure or Allow secure when using TLS as transport protocol)
9. Select DTMF mode (TID-600R supports RFC2833 and SIP Info)
10. Verify Audio Codecs Listed are supported by TID-600R (TID-600R supports G711, OPUS, G722)
11. Click on the Options Tab
12. Verify that “Support Re-Invite” and “Support Replaces Header” are checked
13. 3CX supports the following Video Codec by default, TID-600R VOIP profile is an H264 profile
