Summary:
This article will explain how to configure WAVE to change the layout to show intercom video when the intercom button is pressed while handling the audio with a SIP phone.
NOTE: In order for the call button function to be available, please use the in-client
upgrade code below to bring your system to the listed version. If you are already
on this or a higher version, proceed as normal through the instructions.

Step By Step Guide:
1. Add the intercom from WAVE by right-clicking on the name of the server and then selecting Add Device option (Figure 1)

2. Enter the IP address, user name, and password of the intercom (Figure 2)
3. Click on the Search button (Figure 2)

4. Check the box on the far right of the screen (Figure 3)
5. Click on the Add all Devices button at the bottom (Figure 3)

NOTE: In WAVE version 5.x, the layout will automatically be generated when adding the
TID600R to the system so steps 6-9 will not necessarily be needed.
6. Right-click on the Layouts (Figure 4)
7. Select the New Layout option (Figure 4)

8. Enter the Layout Name you wish to use (Figure 5)
9. Click Ok (Figure 5)

10. Select the Layout that you have just created and customize the layout by dragging and dropping the cameras that you want to see when the intercom call is detected (Figure 6)

11. Press the Ctrl and E keys on your keyboard to bring up the Event Rules window (Figure 7)
12. Press the Add button to create the desired rule (Figure 7)

13. Set the When drop-down to Analytics Event (Figure 8)
NOTE: The Intercom layout will be displayed when the call is triggered from
the intercom.
14. Set the second drop-down on the When line to Starts (Figure 8)
15. Select your event source from the At window to the TID-600r you wish to be the source of your event (Figure 8)
NOTE: This window allows multiple device selections.
16. Select Call Request from the Event Type drop-down (Figure 8)
17. Select Open layout from the Do drop-down (Figure 8)
18. Leave the check box for the Interval of Action unchecked to make the action instant (Figure 8)
NOTE: If you put a check in the box and set a time limit, the layout will
close automatically after the selected time period has expired.
19. Click the Layout button to select your layout (Figure 8)
20. Click the Show To button to select which users to execute this rule for (Figure 8)
21. Click Ok to save the new rule (Figure 8)
