Summary:
If the installation site needs static IP information entered into your Wisenet Sky CMVR or Bridge, then please perform the steps below.
Step By Step Guide for Wan Network IP Address:
1. Hook up a monitor and keyboard to the Sky device
NOTE:If you see cameras displayed on the monitor, or see a black screen,
the bridge may be in Local Display mode and you will need to press
Q on the keyboard to exit the local display.
2. Log in to the bridge as the admin
NOTE: The default password is the last 5 digits of serial number of
the device
3. Select Configure Wired Network
4. Press Enter
5. Select WAN
6. Press Enter
7. To disable DHCP, press the spacebar
NOTE: The default setting is DHCP on which is denoted with an asterisk
8. Enter the static IP information
NOTE: Use the arrow keys to navigate the IP information fields
9. Press the tab button to highlight OK
10. Press enter
11. Press the tab butto
12. Select Save
13. Press enter
NOTE: This may take a few minutes to save. You can verify network access by
selecting Network Diagnostic Info after the settings are saved
Step By Step Guide for Camera Lan Network IP Address:
1. Hookup a monitor and keyboard to the Sky device
2. Log into the bridge as the admin
3. Select Configure Network
4. Press enter
NOTE: Changing the CamLan settings is not recommended because it complicates
the implementation process and the CamLan acts as a DHCP server to the
cameras. The CamLan IP settings should only be changed if you are installing
a Wisenet Sky Bridge on an existing camera environment and the cameras are
already set to a static VLAN or; You are implementing Cloud Video Replication.
5. Select Camera Lan
6. Press Enter
7. Press the spacebar to disable the DHCP service
NOTE: The default setting is DHCP on which is denoted with an asterisk
8. Press the tab button
9. Select OK
10. Press enter
11. Press the tab button
12. Select Save
13. Press enter
