Summary

This article provides instructions for configuring Wisenet cameras to record to an SD card installed on the camera. 

Configuring the SD Card

To record with the SD card:

1. Install the SD Card (or cards) in the camera per the camera manual.
   
   
2. Power on the camera.
   
   
3. Enter the camera IP into a web browser. 
   
   
4. Click the Setup icon. 
   
   
   
   
5. Select Date & Time. 
   
   
   
   
6. Confirm that the correct time is displayed and the settings are correct. If not, synchronize the time and correct the settings for the time zone of the camera.
   
   
7. Once the settings are complete, click Apply.
   

   IMPORTANT: If the settings are not applied, the configuration will not change.

8. Click Video Profile.
   
   
   
   
   
9. Select the profile to be recorded to the SD card or create a new profile.
   
   
10. Configure the settings for that profile.
    
    
11. Select the checkbox next to Record Profile.
    
    
    
    
    
12. Update any Profile properties, as needed.
13. Click Apply. 
    
    
14. Select Event > Storage.
    
    
    
    
15. Select the SD card.
    
    
16. Select On from the Record drop-down menu.
    
    
17. Click Apply.
    
    
18. Left-click Format to format the SD card.
    
    
19. Select the Record Profile preferences using the drop-down menus.
    
    
20. Select days to record if 24/7 continuous recording is not desired.
    
    
21. Click Apply.
