Applies to Models: PNM-9030V

Summary:

This KB article only applies to the PNM-9030V network camera. The firmware upgrade issue replicated when updating from version 1.02_190129 to version 1.03_200311_1721 or higher.

Explanation of Behavior:

The update fails when attempting to update your PNM-9030V from 1.02_190129 to a higher firmware, and the user receives an OUT-of-Memory message.

Cause of Behavior:

This failure is caused by the camera running out of memory and unable to process the firmware update.

Resolution:

- Stop video streaming or event recording to SD or Email/FTP transmission by disconnecting the camera from the VMS system or deleting it from the NVR to stop the video stream

- Proceed with Firmware update using Wisenet Device Manager by connecting it directly to a PC running the software.

Note: If you are unable to connect the camera directly to a computer running Device Manager,
the camera can be update through the WEB UI.
