Summary
All Hanwha NVRs and cameras come with Open Network Video Interface Forum (ONVIF) enabled by default, ensuring seamless integration with third-party devices. This includes compatibility with brands like Hikvision, whose cameras typically have ONVIF disabled by default. This article provides instructions for enabling ONVIF on Hikvision products.

Enabling ONVIF
To enable ONVIF:
- Open a browser and enter the IP address of the camera.
- Navigate to Configuration > Network > Advanced Settings > Integration Protocol.
- Check the box next to Enable Hikvision-CGI.
- Select digest/basic from the Hikvision-CGI Authentication drop-down menu.
- Check the box next to Enable ONVIF.
- Click Add to display the Add User window.
NOTE: The maximum number of users is 32.
- Enter a User Name and Password, then re-enter the password in the Confirm field.
- Ensure the Level is set to Administrator to have unrestricted access to all settings.
- Click Apply to save your settings.
NOTE: Once this is complete, you can register the camera with a Hanwha NVR.
