Hanwha Vision America offers multiple cameras designed with vehicle installation in mind. Such cameras normally use M12 connectors instead of RJ-45 connectors. This article provides instructions for identifying cameras with M12 mobile connectors.

Identifying Mobile-rated Cameras:

Any Hanwha Vision America camera model that has a model number ending with M is a mobile-rated camera (ex: 6022RM, 9010RVM, etc.).

The M12 connector is a 4-pin connector for mobile or rugged applications.

NOTE: An M12 to RJ45 adapter cable is available and can be purchased separately.

Hanwha Vision America uses POE Mode A for our mobile-rated cameras.

IMPORTANT: Make sure the mobile NVR or Switch provides Mode A Pinouts.
