Summary:
The PNM-9320VQP is a five-sensor camera, with four stationary sensors and one PTZ, that features the ability to execute the Handover command independently and includes a standard interface for configuring Handover presets. The Handover feature enables the camera to send a preset Event to a secondary camera. This article includes instructions for setting up the Handover feature.
Step By Step Guide:
Steps required to set the action:
- Open a Chrome browser and enter the IP of the camera into the URL bar.
- Log in using valid admin credentials.
- Click the Gear icon at the top of the interface.
- Navigate to Event > Handover, then click Add.
- Select your preset number from the No. dropdown menu.
- Select either IPV4 or IPV6 from the IP Type dropdown menu.
- Enter the IP address of the unit to receive the Handover command.
- Enter the IP Port of the camera (usually 80).
- Enter the Username and Password for the Admin account.
- Enter the Preset no. you are going to trigger, then click Apply.
The sending camera sees a motion Event and sends the Handover command to the receiving camera(s). The receiving camera(s) then move to the preset position specified in the Handover command.
NOTE: Step 10 is related to a PTZ Preset position that was set prior to these
steps. If unfamiliar with this process, consult the manual for the PTZ camera
in question. The sending camera is normally a stationary camera seeing motion.
It then sends the Handover to a PTZ camera.
