Applies to Models: All Hanwha NVR's, and  IP cameras

To maintain standards, Hanwha Vision America uses the web UI for all knowledge base articles about product configuration. Open Chrome, enter the IP Address of your device into the URL bar, and press enter. If you are not using the web UI to configure your device, please refer to the user manual for your product.

Summary:

Setting up SMTP on the recorders and cameras is an easy process. You may have to check with your IT admin or provider if they do not allow the device to log in to their email servers. Providers like Google consider these cameras as a "Less Secure Device." 

Step By Step Guide:

1. Open your Browser

2. Enter the IP address of the recorder you wish to connect to into the URL bar

3. Press Enter

4. Navigate to Setup

5. Navigate to Network>SMTP

6. Enter all of the information into the necessary fields (Figure 1)

7. Press Test (Figure 1)

NOTE: NVR's and cameras are considered "Less Secure" devices by IPS's
and e-mail providers, your network admin staff will have to allow for this.
If the Test button fails to connect. Your exchange server is most likely
rejecting the connection
