RESOLVED ISSUES

  • Simultaneously adding a large number of licenses is now an asynchronous process, improving stability.

  • Fixed vertical scrolling issues when applying filters or moving pages on the Devices and Licenses pages.

  • During a firmware update on the Devices Management page, the pop up button text would sometimes not display correctly.

  • In the dashboard, the number of users was sometimes not displayed correctly.

RESOLVED ISSUES

  • When trying to reclaim a previously known device, the device could only be onboarded as a new device, and was not reclaimable. This caused historical video and SightMind data to be lost in the process. The resolution now offers the choice to claim or reclaim a device as expected.

SUMMARY 

This major update improves usability by changing the UX of the 'devices' and 'licenses' pages.

NEW FUNCTIONALITY

  • DM Bridge > Wave server onboarding

    Cloud Portal can onboard Wave servers and their child devices under DM Bridge. These devices can be claimed and used in DMPro.
  • Improved usability of the Devices page.

    You can filter devices by Location.

    We've improved visibility and usability by changing the list on the Devices page to a physical tree of devices.

    We’ve improved the search function to the Devices page. You can quickly find devices with the Device name and Serial number search options as well as the Model search option.

    We’ve improved the filter function to the Devices page. You can quickly find devices with the Status filter option as well as the Connection type and Applications linked filter options.

    The list UX of the Onboard devices page has also been improved, and the search and filter functions have been enhanced.

    Additionally, the Onboard devices page has separate Claim and Reclaim tabs to make it easier to distinguish between devices being onboarded for the first time and devices being re-attached, and the bulk add scenario has been improved to onboard devices faster.

    We’ve improved the UX of the Scan network pop-up for onboarding gateway child devices to improve visibility and usability. In particular, you can add multiple child devices at once in the Scan network pop-up.
  • Improved usability of the Licenses page.

    The Licenses page provides a dashboard so you can quickly check the status of licenses by status and product.

    Added Added by’ and Added date columns to the Licenses page to help you find licenses faster.

    We've added a search function to the Licenses page. You can search by License key, Added by, Assigned device, and Location.

    We have added a filter function to the Licenses page. You can search by License name, License type, Status, Added date, Activation date, and Expiration date.

    We improved the UX of the Licenses page to ensure visibility.
  • Improved account unlocking scenario

    Previously, accounts were locked after 3 incorrect password attempts, but this has now been changed to 5 attempts.

    Change the guidance message when an account is locked to guide users through the actions they need to take to unlock their account.

This is a minor bug-fix update to Cloud Portal.

 

NEW FUNCTIONALITY

RESOLVED ISSUES

  • Total number of licenses attached to an organization displayed as 0 in the license attachment message when a user attached more than one license.

  • Clicking 'View devices' for a specific location on the 'Location' tab, displayed all devices instead of just the devices for that location.

  • A 'Review Expired Licenses' message would appear when displaying a list of devices with licenses during the grace period.

  • The number of devices would occasionally not be displayed in certain locations in the 'Location' tab.

  • The 'Cloud Portal' link was not working until a customer organization had been added to the Partner Account.

SUMMARY 

Cloud Portal is the gateway to access DMPro, OnCloud, FLEX AI, and SightMind.

This portal allows you to configure a user profile, an organization profile, and preferences that will be synced across all of the services. You can also add and manage locations, devices, users, and licenses that are synced to the services.

NEW FUNCTIONALITY

  • Inviting a STEP partner to help administer the solution

  • Creating and managing locations, so devices may be assigned to them, and they can be displayed on a map

  • Adding, removing, and managing devices

  • Adding, removing, and managing users, and assigning their roles as Administrators or Users

  • Adding licenses

  • Reviewing all licenses and their statuses and expiration information, as well as to which device they are assigned and where they are located

  • Collecting basic camera information

  • Downloading camera CloudConnector logs

  • Restarting devices

  • Factory resetting devices

  • Auto-updating Direct-to-Cloud device CloudConnector firmware and camera firmware
