Use this guide to watch a clip. The guide also covers downloading, deleting, and commenting on clips.
Step By Step Guide:
Open and play a clip
- In OnCloud, click Clips in the top menu, then click a clip to open it.
To search for a particular clip, see OnCloud: How do I search for clips?
- To play or pause the video, click the play button or pause button .
- To change the volume, move your mouse over the volume icon , then click and drag the slider that appears. Click the icon to mute or unmute the audio.
- To show the video in full screen, click the expand button .
To close the full-screen view, click the contract button .
- To change the playback speed, click the three dots . Click Playback speed, then click one of the options.
- To view a clip while you use another browser tab or app, click the three dots . Then click Picture in picture.
You can move and resize this window:
Download a clip
You can download clips if your organization lets you share clips externally. If you are an administrator, you can download any clip.
To download a clip, click this button:
Delete a clip
You can delete clips that you created. If you are an administrator, you can delete any clip.
To delete a clip:
- Click this button at the top right:
- Click Delete Clip.
- To confirm, click Delete.
Using comments
To comment on a clip:
- Click the Add a comment box to the right.
- Type a comment, then press Enter on your keyboard.
- To edit a comment, click the three dots beside it, then click Edit. Make your changes, then click Save.
- To delete a comment, click the three dots , then click Delete. If the comment is over a week old, this button is disabled.
You can only edit or delete your own comments.
View the log
To see who viewed a clip, scroll down to the Logs section.
You can see the log for clips that you create. If you're an administrator, you can see the log for any clip.
