-
Direct-to-Cloud devices - HealthPro cannot update the firmware on cameras running the Cloud Connector App. Consider using HealthPro Bridge in parallel, or managing the firmware using Cloud Portal.
NOTE: To update the firmware on WAVE Sync and Direct-to-Cloud devices,
connect them to HealthPro Bridge and ensure the licenses are attached to the
devices. For instructions on how to use HealthPro Bridge, refer to
HealthPro Bridge: How do I add multiple devices at once to the Hanwha Vision Cloud?

Unlicensed devices - Attach a HealthPro license to enable firmware updates.
- Select the devices to update.
- Select Sequentially to update devices sequentially; select In parallel to update devices in parallel.
- Click Update firmware.
Updating from Computer
You may update a device’s firmware using a local copy of the file.
NOTE: For Hanwha camera firmware updates via HealthPro, we recommend
using files with the .img extension. If using a zip file, updates
may occasionally fail due to its internal directory structure. If
this happens, manually update using the unzipped .img file.
Automatic updates may also fail for the same reason; in this case,
download the firmware from the Hanwha website, unzip it, and manually
update using the .img file.
To update from computer manually:
- In Cloud Portal, navigate to HealthPro.

) icon and navigate to the Firmware widget.
- Click the number beside Updatable devices.
- Click Update from computer to see devices with firmware updates available.
- Click the Plus icon next to Upload a firmware file from your computer and browse for the file.
- Click Update firmware.
