Summary
This article explains how to delete a custom role. You must be an administrator to delete a custom role.
Before starting, create a custom role. See OnCloud: How do I create custom roles?
Deleting a Custom Role
To delete a role:
- Log in to Cloud Portal.
- Navigate to OnCloud.
- Click the Building icon at the top right to start your dashboard.
NOTE: If you do not see this icon, you do not have permission to view the dashboard.
- In the Roles section, click Manage:
- Click the role you want to delete. Administrator or User roles cannot be deleted.
- Click Assigned Accounts to check if any accounts have this role. Accounts with a checkmark beside them have this role.
- Change the role for accounts with checkmarks.

- Click Confirm.
