Summary:
A role in OnCloud gives you permission to do certain things. All accounts have a role.
OnCloud has two default roles: administrator and user. Some organizations also create roles with custom permissions.
Roles in OnCloud:
Administrators
If you're an administrator, you can:
- Access all cameras and incidents.
- Create and delete accounts.
- Change settings for the organization.
If you see the building icon at the top right in OnCloud, you have an administrator account:
Users
If you're a user, you can:
- Access cameras for selected locations and areas.
- Edit your own profile.
Custom roles
If you have a custom role:
- Your permissions depend on your organization's setup.
