OnCloud: How do I use a view?

You can use a view to see up to 12 cameras at once. This page explains how to use a view.

Step By Step Guide:

Before starting, create a view. To create and customize views, see OnCloud: How do I create a view?

Use basic controls

1. In OnCloud, click Cameras in the top menu. Then click the name of a view under My Views to open it.
   
   
2. To pause the video for all cameras, click pause . Click again to play.
   
   
3. Click and drag the timeline to move forward and backward in time.
   This updates the video for all cameras at once, so you can review an incident from multiple angles.
   
   
   
   
   
4. To show the video in full screen, click the expand button .
   To close the full-screen view, click the contract button .
   
   
5. Click Go Live to show live video for all cameras.

The dots on the timeline are events, such as a person or vehicle moving.

Select dates and times

1. To show video for a certain date and time, click the calendar icon above the timeline.
   Select a date and time, then click Apply.
   
   
2. To change the scale of the timeline, click the Mins button.
   The button toggles between minutes, seconds, and days.

Save images

1. To save images from all cameras, click the camera .

View a single camera

1. To see the name, location, area, and local time for a camera, move your mouse over a video feed.
   
   
2. To open the details for a camera, double click a video feed.
