Summary:
An event is something that happens in a video feed. Use this guide to browse and filter events by time, location, and type.
Step By Step Guide:
To see events, click Events in the top menu in OnCloud.
You can use a single filter or combine more than one.
Filter by date and time
- To filter for a single date, click the Date box at the top of the page.
Click a date, then click Apply.
- To filter for a multiple dates, click the Date box.
Click Date Range.
Click to select a range of dates, then click Apply.
- To filter for time, click the Time box at the top of the page.
Click Start and End to type in times in 12-hour format, or drag the sliders.
Click Apply.
This shows events for the selected date and time ranges.
Filter by location, area, and camera
The location, area, and camera filters are to the left of the screen.
- To select a location, click the checkbox beside it.
This updates the list of areas.
- To select areas within that location, click the checkboxes beside them.
This updates the list of cameras.
- To select cameras, scroll down to the Devices heading on the left.
Click the checkboxes beside cameras to select them.
This shows events for the selected locations, areas, and cameras.
Filter by event type
The event type filters are to the left of the screen, below the camera filters.
- Scroll down to the Event Type section in the left menu.
- Click an option, such as Person.
This shows all matching events.
- For most event types, you can select detailed options.
For example, if you select Person, you can see a Shirt Color section below.
