Summary:
The white light alarm can be activated through a combination of event triggers such as AI based MD, IVA, and tampering detection. The white light can be turned on during the “Dwell time” and can be used as a welcome, or it can be used as a blinking warning alarm. In a dark environment monitored by IR, by turning on the white light alarm, people can receive a visual warning that may help to prevent crime.
The steps below walk you through enabling the white light alarm utilizing a camera event.
Step By Step Guide:
- Log in to the camera's web interface.
- Navigate to Setup > Video & Audio > Camera Setup.
- Click the LED light tab to configure the settings of the LED Light.
- Mode: select Light Alarm and then Flashing or Constant
- Minimum duration: select the amount of time for the light to stay active, up to 30s
- Level: select a level of 1 - 5 for the light intensity, 5 being the strongest
