Applies to Models: All Hanwha A, Q, X, and P series NVR's
To maintain standards, Hanwha Vision uses the web UI for all knowledge base articles about product configuration. Open Chrome, enter the IP Address of your device into the URL bar, and press enter. If you are not using the web UI to configure your device, please refer to the user manual for your product.
Issue Summary:
When trying to execute a system change via a browser session, the user receives the Menu is currently in use by Recorder Set error message. This indicates that someone is logged into the NVR's interface directly at the NVR.
Resolution:
To resolve the Menu is currently in use by Recorder Set error message:
- The user must log out of the interface before the browser session will allow changes to be saved.
- Logging off from the recorder locally will resolve this issue.
- You can configure the recorder to log off automatically after a chosen time.
This option can be found under Setup > System > Restriction Settings > Auto Logout.
