WAVE: How do I use the SPC-2000 controller?

Summary:

The SPC-2000 joystick controller will be supported in a way that each joystick button or movement runs a predefined command. This article provides information on how the SPC-2000 joystick has been integrated into WAVE. 

Using the SPC-2000 Joystick:

The following are a few notes on the functionality of the joystick:

  • Button 1 does the same as PTZ hotkey one, and so on.
  • Using PTZ hotkeys, PTZ positions can be assigned to the joystick buttons. 
  • Logical ID from Layout Settings assigns Layout to the joystick button.
  • Button 1 + Button 12 will open a layout with Logical Id = 1. 
  • Unfortunately, open camera action and switching between client windows will not be supported.

The buttons on the SPC-2000 for reference:

  PTZ Mode Screen Mode (button 12 depressed)
Up/Down/Left/Right Camera pan/tilt Select cameras on the layout
Rotation
