Summary:
This article reviews the ports necessary for remote access to SSM 2.10.
NOTE: This article assumes you have knowledge of Port Forwarding and
a functioning admin level login to SSM.
Port Information:
If remote access is not possible or is restricted, refer to the following table which outlines the ports that must be forwarded to the SSM system.
Remote Access to SSM 2.10:
To forward the ports to the SSM system:
- On the SSM Server, open the SSM Console, click the Plus (+) icon, then click Configuration from the dropdown menu.
- With the configuration page now open, navigate to your SSM Server under Device Registration.
- Check the Enable checkbox and enter your Product ID (if using the Hanwha DDNS), then click Apply.
NOTE: To use an external IP address instead of the DDNS function, ensure the
Wisenet DDNS box is NOT checked and enter your external IP address.
To find your external IP address, navigate to https://whatismyipaddress.com/.
Your external IP is the IPv4 address as shown here: - Enter the public IP address in the IP (WAN) box and click Apply.
- On the remote client PC, log in to the main SSM site by adding the public IP address of the site.
- On the login screen, click the Settings icon.
- Enter a new site with the public IP as the IP address.
- Select this site to log into.
NOTE: You can view cameras when logged in. The first time connecting
