This article will go over SSM 2.10 or higher generic setup and configuration information.

1. User and Group creation limitation
   • There is no limitation regarding creation.
   • The number of concurrent users is limited to 35 per server.
     
     
2. Connection check cycle
   
   • The SUNAPI protocol used in our cameras/NVRs is the HTTP protocol and has a stateless feature.
   • To check the connection status with the equipment, it sends a separate command periodically to check if it is connected.
   • A separate command cycle currently requests a command every 15 seconds. If it is determined that the connection is lost, it will try to reconnect. Reconnection attempts are made every 10 seconds.
     
     
3. Setting an e-mail alarm for failed login attempt
   • If you set an e-mail alarm in SSM, you can receive a warning e-mail of an inappropriate login attempt.
   • To configure the alarm, navigate to:
     Console Client -> Configuration -> System -> Maintenance -> E-mail
     
     • Message example:
