Summary:
- Camera views in Smart Viewer are offline from the NVR.
Explanation of Behavior:
- If the camera goes offline in the NVR, Smart Viewer will also fail to display a stream.
- To prove that the cameras are offline, log into the NVR directly or through a browser on your PC.
- If the recorder has been issued or assigned a new IP, then Smart Viewer will not automatically reconnect.
Resolution:
- If the NVR is in Plug and Play mode, rebooting the NVR may bring the cameras back online.
- If the cameras are registered and assigned static IP's.
- In this instance, you must remove and manually re-register the cameras.
- You would have to re-establish the connection to the NVR by re-registering it into Smart Viewer.
