In SightMind, a widget is a condensed application view that allows users to display data and features of an AI application installed on a camera. It provides a centralized way to check individual data from AI applications. Depending on the user's preference, an application can be represented by multiple widgets of different formats. This article provides instructions for using widgets in SightMind.

Adding Widgets to a Dashboard

To add a widget to a dashboard:
- Select the dashboard where you want to add the widget.
- Using the navigation tree on the left, select the dashboard to which you would like to add a widget (or create a new one).
- Click the Plus () button on the bottom right of the dashboard page then click New.
The Add widget window is displayed.
- Select a widget type and click OK.
A new widget setting window opens.
- Customize the widget.

Widget name – Click the pencil () icon to change the widget name. (You can input up to 50 characters.)

Widget form – Select the widget form style. (Form styles vary depending on the widget type.)

Rules – Click Select.
A new window appears, listing the rules set for each camera and channel. (You can also view the video thumbnail that includes the area of interest set by the rule.)
a) Select the rule to be the basis for analyzing the data.
b) Click the arrow in the upper left corner to close the rule setting window.

Option – Select the On radio button to display the data along with comparative data. (Options vary depending on the widget type.)

Widget name – Click the pencil () icon to change the widget name. (You can input up to 50 characters.)
- Click OK.
NOTE: If no rules are visible, verify the rule is configured and enabled for
the camera claimed to SightMind.
Configuring Widgets
Changing Widget Location
To change the location of a widget:
- Hover your mouse over the widget on the dashboard. (The pointer will change into a cross shape.)
- Drag the widget to your desired location.
Hiding a Widget
To hide a widget, click the three dots on the top right corner and select Hide widget.
Showing a Hidden Widget
To show a hidden widget on the dashboard:
- Click the Plus () button on the bottom right of the dashboard page then click Show.
The Show widget window appears.
- Select the widget to display then click OK.
