How to configure the SPM-4210 I/O Box

Summary:

The SPM-4210 is a network attached Input/Output unit for Alarm and Audio connection. It is recommended to check your camera specifications to see if the SPM-4210 is supported.

Step by Step Guide:

How to pair the SPM-4210 with a compatible camera.

Note:  To use the features of this unit, you need to connect the camera with the unit 
through camera setup.
  1. Access your SPM-4210 via the web browser and log in.
    NOTE: If logging in for the first time, you must set a password.
  2. Configure the Date & Time and IP & Port settings.

  3. Click <Help ()> to view detailed descriptions of each function.

  4. Login to your camera and set the admin password (if not already set).

  5. On the Camera web page, navigate to Settings -> Event -> I/O Box

  6. Check the Enable I/O Box option and enter the IP address you set for the I/O Box and the password you configured.

  7. Click on Apply at the bottom of the page.


  8. The status message should now show Connected.

  9. You can now configure the Alarm inputs and outputs from the camera's configuration page.
