Summary:

The SolidEDGE camera can have it's firmware upgraded or factor defaulted and retain the WAVE VMS and the recorded video storage. 

There is no need to initialize the drive, which would remove the recorded video and the WAVE VMS installation.

The WAVE license is also retained during a factory default and a firmware upgrade.

Please note that when the camera is factory defaulted, the WAVE service will be stopped.  Please start the service again in the Event > Storage menu.
