Summary:

WAVE Sync Layouts are cross-system layouts that allow you to work with devices from different systems.  Currently, only some features of regular layouts are available.  Operators with permissions to multiple Systems can setup & view cameras from Cloud connected systems into a single Layout for Viewing.  Users can view live video, archived video, use PTZ controls and motion search.  This functionality allows users to monitor cameras across Systems in a unified workspace and eliminates the need to open two Wave Windows for viewing. 

Step By Step Guide:

1. Login into Wave VMS.

2. Build a Cloud layout selecting cameras from the resource panel by either dragging them to the flex grid viewing area or double clicking on the camera.  Cameras from other Systems will be located under the Other Systems folder.  (Figure 1)

Note: Only compatible systems (v5.1 and higher) will have nested cameras in the "Other Systems" 
folder.

3. Right click in the viewing area and select Save Current Layout As Cloud and name your new Cloud Layout.  (Figure 2)

4.  The layout will be represented with a cloud layout icon under Cloud Layouts in the left tree.  (Figure 3)

5.  Subsequently opening the WAVE client at any time, you will have access to the Cloud Layout you have just created.
