Summary:
This article provides instructions for scheduling PTZ modes from Auto run.
Step By Step Guide:
To schedule PTZ modes:
- In your web browser, enter the IP address of the camera and login as admin.
- Click the Gear (
) icon at the top of the page and select the PTZ -> PTZ Setup menu on the left.
- Select the Preset tab and position the camera using the on-screen control stick, then click Set Preset.
- Name your preset and click OK.
- Select Auto run from the Follow-up action dropdown menu.
NOTE: If you intend to use Auto Tracking, select Auto tracking > Auto run
then select your Tracking time. After the tracking time has expired, this
feature will release the tracking back to the function on the Auto run tab. - Click the Auto run tab.
- Select Schedule from the Mode dropdown menu then check the box next to Always enable auto-run.
- In the Time dropdown menu, select how long the camera waits before performing the Mode function.
- Click anywhere on the calendar grid to bring up the option to customize the calendar.

Select either Preset or Group from the Mode dropdown menu.
The Preset selection will only run that one preset. The Group selection will run the entire group of presets and their after-action, which includes Auto Tracking. -
Set the day and time of week using the From and To dropdown menus, then click OK.
NOTE: Additional PTZ features can be selected but cannot run at the same time.
- Click Apply at the bottom of the screen to save the changes.
