Below is a step-by-step guide to reset the camera to factory default settings if the camera password has been forgotten. 

Step By Step Guide:

1. Plug in the power cable to the camera's power port.

2. Wait until the status light on the camera is no longer solid red.

Note: Camera status light will be either blinking red, blue, or green.

3. Press and hold the reset button on the camera for twelve seconds and then release. 

Note: For the SmartCam D1 doorbell you will need to remove the face plate to access the
reset button.

4. Proceed with re-registering the camera by following the steps in the mobile application.
